About Us

Lucas and John here! We’re the duo team behind CutLut.
We met in a coffee shop. Despite the fact we are both introverts we started one long conversation back then. And ever since we are friends.

We helped each other with our wedding projects when we had a backlog so many times. After 4 years of doing so, we realized that we could help more people than each other. Editing became our passion that’s why we now help filmmakers turn raw footage into unique love stories.

Frequently Asked Questions about video editing service

Do you offer free trial video?

Yes, we offer a trial for the first film. You pay only if you are 100% satisfied and want to continue working with us in the future.

It’ll take ages to upload my footage. How do I send it to CutLut?

We always work with proxy files. It’ll take less time to upload it. Files can be sent via Google drive or Dropbox.

How long does it take to get my project back ?

Our turnaround time is 8 days for culling service and 2-3 weeks for video editing.

Can you edit on my native software?

We use Premiere Pro. Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.

Will I be working with the same editor every time?

Yes. We are a small team. Your videos will be edited by the same editor.

How do I receive finished project?

Once the project is ready, you’ll receive a link to frame.io to approve a video. If you are satisfied you can download a project file and relink it to your media.

Do you offer free revisions?

We offer three rounds of revisions for free.
